Christian Dotremont

Born in Tervuren, this Belgian writer was the founder and initiator of the CoBrA Movement, for which he created review bearing the same name. In painting, his work bears a resemblance to oriental calligraphy. He created the logogram in which painting and writing become a single work. He created joint works with artists including Jorn, Alechinsky, Vandercam and Corneille.
