Albert Pepermans

Born in Kortenberg in 1947, Albert Pepermans is a painter and draughtsman. He studied graphic design at St Luc's, Brussels and then worked in advertising whilst teaching drawing. Since the 1970s he has created his own iconographic language. His works show a figurative vision of the world, influenced by elements from the media, strip cartoons, advertising, photography and so on. He creates his works in an urban landscape with primary colours and enoromous figures.
